VinoTeca is thrilled to welcome Giovanni Brumant of Le Monde and La Ponca wineries, for a night of Friulian wine perfectly paired with PASTA!
Tucked into Italy’s northeast corner, Friuli produces some of the country’s most precise and quietly powerful wines, shaped by Alpine breezes, Adriatic influence, and mineral-rich ponca soils. Known for pristine whites like Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, and Malvasia, the region favors texture, restraint, and clarity over flash. These are wines that reward attention — subtle, layered, and unforgettable once they have it. Le Monde and La Ponca share a deep connection to Friuli, working with native grapes and the region’s iconic ponca soils. Together, they offer two distinct expressions of the same terroir — different styles, one unmistakable sense of place.
Chef Pedro has created a family style feast that will complement these five Northern Italian gems. His menu will be served in passable servings with plenty to go around.
